Meet Dr. Emily Whiting
Dr. Emily Whiting knew she wanted to become a physical therapist after a high school sport injury required treatment by a physical therapist. Amazed at how specific exercises and manual therapy allowed her to get back to her sport within the same season, she fell in love with the profession.
Emily attended the College of St. Scholastica and received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology in 2013, then her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. She currently works part time as an adjunct faculty at the College of St. Scholastica Physical Therapy school.
Practice Experience
Emily has worked primarily with the outpatient orthopedic population treating a wide variety of injuries and post operative conditions from pediatric to geriatric patients. She strives to tailor her treatment to each individual patient so they can receive the best possible care. Emily works to always educate her patients on their condition and teach them tools and techniques to manage their condition independently.

Outside the Practice
Emily enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two sons. Since moving back to Duluth in 2021, Emily and her family have loved going for hikes through all of the Duluth parks and throwing rocks on the beaches of Lake Superior. Emily also enjoys playing volleyball, doing home and furniture updates and reading mystery novels.
